Hospitals

Included here due to the emergency health care role they provide in the community. Hospitals are much less dependent on Medicaid revenue than are nursing homes or I/DD providers, but inpatient spending is included in unit 0460 and 0461 in the Wyoming Department of Health's budget (Agency 048).

Note that, for hospital "types", the first number refers to provider type (e.g. general acute vs. psychiatric) second set of numbers refers to the bed range (e.g. "50-99"), the third (1 or 0) to Critical Access Hospital (CAH) status, the fourth (1 or 0) to system ownership (e.g. if part of a bigger chain), and the last element (1 or 0) to rural location (vs. urban).
